Middle Division
Marburn Academy Middle Division classes provide opportunities for students to build foundational academic skills in daily small-group Orton-Gillingham language and experientially-based math classes. Social studies, science, language arts, and specials classes are designed to develop high-level critical thinking and problem solving skills in an intellectually challenging environment.

In addition, a wide range of extra curricular activities are offered to help students experience the kind of success that fosters the growth of self-awareness and self-advocacy skills that are necessary as adolescents build confidence and feelings of self-worth.
Marburn's Middle Division students display a wide range of interests and affinities, and their teachers structure the school environment to challenge them in areas of strength and to provide support in areas of need.
Classrooms are built on a model of 16 students with two full-time, lead teachers. This model permits individualized and small-group attention while also allowing flexibility so that one teacher can work with one student if necessary, while the other teacher continues with the rest of the class.
