Community Parent Seminars
Each year, Marburn offers a series of Community Parent Seminars, which focus on a variety of topics related to learning and learning differences such as ADHD, dyslexia, and executive functioning.
The seminars discuss topics including reading, writing, spelling, math, and self-management as they relate to students who struggle in school.

How Parents Can Support School Success for Children with ADHD
This presentation will provide information regarding the nature of ADHD in childhood and adolescence, academic and social challenges experienced by students with ADHD, and strategies for parents to use to support their child’s school success. Specific examples of strategies will include daily behavior report card, homework plan, and effective parent-teacher communication.
The cost of the seminar is $20.
