Marburn Academy recognizes that distance learning is not a substitute for in-person, day-to-day instruction and is particularly difficult for children with learning differences.
For this reason, we made the decision to enact our distance learning plan in an intentional, measured way.
Marburn enacted a two-phase plan: On March 12th, we rolled out Phase Ⅰ offering recursive practice and support to our students. This included providing ongoing office hours. Phase Ⅱ began on April 1 and included sample schedules, continued office hours, ways to connect with teachers and specific distance learning materials to move education forward.
