Annual Gala

When the school was chartered in 1981, Marburn Academy’s Board of Trustees established philanthropy as a key to the school’s success. 

Each year more than 50% of Marburn families receive need-based tuition assistance provided by fundraising activities. The Annual Fund and the Gala are the primary sources of these dollars. In 2016–2017, more than $625,000 was raised to help families afford a Marburn education, as well as funding operational expenses not covered by tuition revenue.

The 2017 Annual Gala was held on Saturday, April 29th at the Grand Ballroom in the Ohio Union. More than 300 people enjoyed the evening celebrating Marburn’s extraordinary students, and more than $275,000 was raised for scholarships.
