What resources are available to families?
Marburn Academy Need-Based Financial Aid
In 2018-2019, Marburn Academy distributed $1.1MM in need-based aid, and our fundraising team is committed to raising funds for scholarships every year.
Ohio Department of Education
Most of our families receive scholarships through the Ohio Department of Education. The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship and the Autism Scholarship are available to students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. These awards are not need-based and are determined by the primary disability condition identified on the student’s Evaluation Team Report (ETR).
12-Month Payment Plan
Marburn Academy families can choose to make monthly payments over 12 months.
529 Plan / Tax Incentives
A 529 Plan is traditionally a college savings plan that offers tax and financial aid benefits to families. However, you may now use 529 Plans towards K-12 tuition. Families may also qualify to deduct tuition costs from their federal income taxes. If you are interested in using your 529 funds for Marburn tuition, please contact your financial advisor.
