Mr. Burton is currently serving in as Senior Advisor and Special Projects and has been with Marburn since 1985. Burton began as a teacher then became the Dean of Students/Director of Admission followed by the Associate Head of School from 2011 to 2019. Most recently he served in the Interim Head of School position for the 2019-2020 school year. Burton holds his bachelor’s degree in special education and teaching from The Ohio State University and his master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from Ashland University. He enjoys OSU sports, hiking, jogging, and spending time with his wife and two grown children.
