Marburn's inaugural Founders Day event was held in 2021 to celebrate our 40th year of providing excellence in education for students who learn differently. We have welcomed more than 1000 attendees over the years, including families, faculty, staff, alumni, and Board Members! Join us for the fourth annual Founders Day and Alumni Homecoming with an evening of fun, food, festivities, and family connectivity celebrating our founders, school, and community.

The event features inflatables, games, face painting, crafts, food trucks, and more. This is the biggest event of the school year, so be sure to share this memorable and fun evening with us.

*Founders Day is at no cost to families except food and beverage, which will be self-pay.

Event Information

PARKING
Parking is available in the front and side lots at Marburn Academy. Overflow parking is available at Infinite Church, just down the street at 175 E. Main Street, New Albany. Please do not park in the Windsor Estates neighborhood next to Marburn. It is a private neighborhood.

SHUTTLE
A shuttle will be available beginning at 5:15 p.m. at Infinite Church and will run between there and Marburn every 10-15 minutes. The shuttle will make its last run at approximately 8:10 p.m.

WHAT'S AVAILABLE AND WHAT TO BRING
Food trucks will be available for your family and are self-pay. Remember to bring your folding chair or a blanket for seating. Also, this event is family-friendly, so bring the crew! We do ask that students of all grade levels be accompanied by an adult at the event.

The Panther Community Network will be selling Marburn spirit wear!

IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
If needed, a weather cancellation will be communicated on the morning of September 6th, via email and social media.
