Shawn D. Holt, Corporate Vice President of the National Youth Advocate Program, has impacted the lives of families from more than just an educational perspective. With more than twenty-nine years of experience in child welfare and hospital administration, Holt understands the challenging battles of life and overcoming obstacles to be successful.

Before joining the National Youth Advocate Program, Holt served as the Chief Executive Officer of River Vista Behavioral Hospital, where he oversaw inpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment for patients at all stages of recovery, including outpatient care, and crisis stabilization.

Throughout his career, Holt has held leadership positions with various organizations such as Maryhaven, St. Vincent Family Center, Franklin County Children Services, the Buckeye Ranch, and Twin Valley Psychiatric Systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bethany College and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Franklin University.
