Lori Vu-Miller joined Marburn Academy 2019 as the Head of the Lower Division. Lori has worked in the education field since 2002. Prior to joining Marburn Academy, Lori was a first-grade teacher and has worked for Battelle for Kids and at Ohio State University.  While at Battelle for Kids, Lori was a Human Capital Specialist supporting her team with conducting research and the design of innovative tools to strengthen performance evaluation systems, hiring practices, and talent placement as well as writing and editing contracts in order to address human capital challenges in education. While at Ohio State University, she worked in the Crane Center for Early Childhood Research and Policy as a project director. Lori also launched, managed, and successfully grew a non-profit preschool and kindergarten program in Dublin, Ohio, following the start of her career as a classroom teacher. Lori holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education with an endorsement in reading from Ashland University. Lori enjoys the outdoors, animals, and spending time with her family.
