This innovative partnership will provide high-quality, accredited “Science of Reading” training to educators across Central Ohio.  Now uniting two organizations with a shared focus: to equip teachers with the skills and resources needed to effectively address dyslexia and other learning differences in students. Through shared expertise, in partnership between Marburn Academy and Sensible Learning, this 70-hour training provides a foundation in structured, multisensory language instruction. Designed to prepare educators for effective one-to-one or small group instruction, the course blends Orton-Gillingham Academy's (OGA) principles with current research-based practices to equip trainees with strategies that support students who learn differently.

Through interactive lessons, participants strengthen their knowledge of:

  • Dyslexia Understanding

  • Phonological Awareness

  • Syllable Types, and Division Patterns

  • Spelling Generalization

  • The Structure of the English Language

  • Morphology

Beyond the theory, this course emphasizes application. Trainees gain practical experience in interpreting assessments, planning lessons, and delivering diagnostic, individualized instruction that meets each student's needs.
